After years of using the same corded DeWalt Random Orbit Sander, it’s time for a change. There are THREE major boxes I have to check when selecting a new one. 1) Fast braking. When I turn it off, I do not want to wait for the sanding head to stop rotating. 2) Weight. I want it to be nice and light. 3) Dust collection. I want to be able to hook it up to my dust collection system with minimal fuss and maximum sucking power. I chose the Bosch GEX12V-5N 12V and the Makita XOB01Z 18V since I already have those battery platforms. Check out my video and details below to see which one wins!
