Prime Day October Deals

I wasn’t planning to post today, but I realized that today is Amazon Prime Day – October and they actually have a few deals that I think are worth sharing. I think the retail industry is struggling a little bit, so it makes sense that Amazon is attempting to get out in front of the Holliday shopping season to bring in more revenue. I guess if there are a few deals to be had, I figure why not. Mechanix Wear Work Gloves – I first heard about these gloves when I was gifted a pair from a friend who is a navy seal. Yes you read that right. If a guy like that recommends something, you listen. This is now the only brand I buy for gloves. They are perfect for around the house, gardening, woodworking, camping, automotive and shooting. They currently have tons of options on sale to suit your needs. I’m probably going to buy another pair or two.
DEWALT Orbital Sander, 5-Inch – I have owned a previous version of this sander for over 10 years and it never disappoints when I need corded power.
PicassoTiles 100 Pieces Magnetic Tiles Building Blocks – We have 3 kids ages 7, 10 & 12 and these have been the best purchase we ever made in terms of toys. If you are unfamiliar, they are plastic shapes that link together with, you guessed it, magnets. The brand “Magna-Tiles” is the “Yeti” version of the product but “PicassoTiles” is absolutely the same quality at a lower price. And this Prime Day deal is even better. I honestly might buy more because we always seem to run out when our kids are in full blown creative mode. If you have kids, you will not regret this purchase!
CHAMBERLAIN B2401 Smart Quiet Belt Drive Garage Door Opener – I recently installed this in my garage and I haven’t looked back. Not only is it quieter than my previous chain drive, but being able to open my garage door from my phone has been a huge bonus that I use way more than I thought I ever would. For example: sometimes we receive packages while we are out of town. We have awesome neighbors who are able to grab them and I open the garage door so they can set them inside so they are safe until we return. TEKTON Everybit Tech Rescue Kit (46-Piece) – This kit has a permanent place in our utility drawer in our kitchen. I use this kit all the time for all the different needs that come up around the house. Tekton is one of my favorite brands and they have other deals as well. Find them HERE.

Streamlight 66122 Stylus Pro 100-Lumen Penlight – Maybe it’s because we camp more but I am always looking for good flashlights. I have one of these and it works great. I am considering buying another one because it’s currently half off. This would make a great stocking stuffer too.
Nuun Hydration Vitamins Electrolyte Tablets + Vitamins – As runners, my wife and I are always looking to boost the hydration factor. We have also learned that when we are out camping or hiking with our kids, being able to flavor the kids water and boost some of their electrolytes helps out as well. We have used Nuun before and really liked them. These flavors look good so I just added them to my cart.
Scratch Art Books for Kids – I was literally closing the window and I saw this product. I added to my cart immediately because our kids LOVE scratch art and this is a 2-pack!
