Learning how to Limewash!
After we painted our cabinets and updated the hardware and lights, we knew we wanted to update the backsplash but we weren’t sure on what we wanted. We liked the end look of the limewash stone color, but didn’t want any natural color to show through (which is common in limewash applications). Neither of us had had any experience with limewash before so we a little nervous. After lots of research, we moved forward with the project. It took us about a weekend of work and we are happy with how it turned out. We learned a lot along the way and I put together a video sharing 5 Tips for How To Limewash. I hope it helps you on your project! More below.
