DIY Bunk Beds with Pipe Ladder & Railing

A friend of mine needed a good set of bunk beds so I designed and built a set that was sturdy, could be broken down and put together easily AND had black pipe features like a pipe ladder and a pipe railing!  I am really excited about how this build turned out and I can’t wait to show you how I made it! Here are some details on the project and lots of links… Enjoy!

*Disclaimer: This bunk bed is lacking some features such as guardrails around all 4 sides, this is because this design is placed against two walls, but I am not comfortable providing building plans without sharing the fact that this is not built to code. By following these building plans you are releasing myself (Andrew Bacon / Field Treasure Designs, LLC), from any liability. These plans are meant to be used as a guide, please adjust as necessary. Here is a link to the CPSC requirements for bunk beds for your reference: https://www.cpsc.gov/PageFiles/120632/regsumbunkbed.pdf  Please build responsibly!
